When Lewis came to work with me he brought some tools, one of the tools was a woodturning lathe. I've used it a tiny bit but we done some space management (moved some stuff about) and the lathe is in its final place, now that its in its final spot I'm going to teach myself how to woodturn. I'll probably turn some stuff for my own pieces of furniture and turn wee things that I think of.

Here's a video of a wee mallet thing that I made for a bit of practice, it seems to work just fine. The newel post that I sacrificed has been sitting outside for a few years and I don't have any other use for it. Here it is, enjoy and I'm open to tips and advice while I self teach woodturning.

Onwards :)
